Glaasstudio was established in the year 2000 as a small stained glass studio with a modest staff complement of just two people. To enable us to cope with the growing demand for our unusual glass and wire lamps, we initiated a training and product development center.
Jagersfontein is a small village situated in the southern Free State in the centre of South Africa. We boast the largest man-made, vertical sided open diamond mine in the world. One of the most famous stones to have come from here is the Excelsior, which is now part of the British Crown Jewels.
